Independent Enthusiast Disclaimer: Metro Transit Industries (MTI) and MetroTracker are independent enthusiast projects. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by SMRT Corporation, SBS Transit, the Land Transport Authority (LTA), or Roblox Corporation. All trademarks, rolling stock identifiers, and station names belong to their respective owners.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Metro Transit Industries services, websites, portals (MTI Hub), and applications (including MetroTracker), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using our services.

2. Authentication and Accounts

Depending on the service accessed:

MTI Hub & Staff Portals: Access is restricted to authorized group members authenticated via Roblox OAuth 2.0.
MetroTracker Community Platform: Users authenticate via Google Authentication or Email & Password. Users can link both Google and Password credentials to their account for flexibility.
Mandatory Email Verification: Users must verify their email address before submitting or editing train spotting observations.

3. Spotting Community Rules & Photo Proof

Submissions on MetroTracker must be honest, authentic observations of trains in service:

Only valid trainsets preloaded into our database registry can be submitted. Fictitious or spoofed train numbers are strictly prohibited.
48-Hour Photo Deletion: Any photo proofs uploaded to verify spottings are temporary assets stored on cloud infrastructure and are automatically and permanently deleted after 48 hours.
No bot submissions, spam, or automated tampering with transit logs is tolerated.

4. Railway Safety & Lawful Conduct

Safety is our top priority. Users observing transit vehicles must comply with all Singapore laws, Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) regulations, and transit operator instructions. Trespassing into non-passenger areas, railway tracks, or depots is strictly prohibited. Metro Transit Industries assumes no liability for user conduct or actions on transit premises.

5. User Account Deletion

Users have the right to permanently delete their account at any time. For security, account deletion requires entering your account password to confirm identity (or re-authenticating with Google for Google-only sign-ins). Upon confirmation, your user profile and login credentials are permanently purged.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access to any service or account for violations of these terms, harmful conduct, or disruption of the community platform.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the websites and services implies acceptance of the revised terms.
